USUBC Meeting with U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch

A roundtable meeting with the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch and business leaders, organized by the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council (USUBC) and its President Morgan Williams, took place on April 20, 2017 in Kyiv.  The discussion addressed investment environment, protection of foreign investments and Ukraine’s energy security.


Advisor to the Board of Directors Vadym Pozharskyi spoke on behalf of the International Energy Group Burisma.

“Such meetings are an important element in forging cooperation between US and Ukrainian business communities. They strengthen bilateral trade relations and boost US investment flows to the Ukrainian market. We would like to convey a message to the international community that Ukraine is ready for profound economic reforms and this process is irreversible. Burisma Group has already opened Ukrainian market to the US oil & gas service companies offering new opportunities and professional prospects”, noted Vadym Pozharskyi.

He also shared his vision for Ukraine’s energy sector future and business expectations about sector reforms and deregulation.
