Burisma Increases Tax Payments to the Budget: in 2016 Treasury Revenues will Exceed UAH 2 bln

International energy group Burisma, which owns gas production assets in Ukraine, is going to pay over UAH 2 bln in tax liabilities to the budgets of all levels by the end of the year. Thus, the total amount of tax payments by the largest independent gas producer in Ukraine will significantly increase in 2016 compared to the previous years. Over the past few years, Burisma Group companies paid over UAH 5 bln of accrued liabilities.

In July 2016, Burisma started cooperation with the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine and the State Fiscal Service upon inspections and investigation of company activities. Burisma Group claims that all its companies are transparent and open for cooperation with law enforcement agencies.

According to the State Fiscal Service, Burisma’s largest operating company – Energy service company “ESCO Pivnich” is ranked among TOP 20 largest taxpayers in Ukraine.
